For grapes: even bud break, flea beetle and mealybug

After pruning, a grape cane needs to break its buds evenly. Ready Kav Paste is brushed on the pruned canes for uniform bud break and to help control flea beetle.

Mealybug is the other long-running worry in the vineyard. Growers use Killoryx+, made with ICAR-NBAIR licensed technology, against it through drip and as an evening spray.

5 kg per 17 litres of water

After pruning: even bud break and flea beetle

Mix 5 kg of Ready Kav Paste in 17 litres of water and brush it on the pruned canes so the whole cane is covered. Growers usually add 1 litre of hydrogen cyanamide, their own bud-break agent, to this mix. The paste is our product; the cyanamide is a separate product to be used as its own label says.

Mealybug

Soak the 250 g of Killoryx+ in water for 4 hours, mix it into 200 litres of water (one can covers 1 acre) and apply through drip or as a spray in the evening, on moist soil.
