What it does
- Grapes: helps the buds on the pruned cane break evenly and helps control flea beetle (उडद्या) after pruning.
- Grapes: the company reports that the paste covers the whole cane and holds in rain.
- Pomegranate: protects the stem from insects such as stem borer.
- Other fruit crops: protects the stem from insects and from heat.
On grapes: pasting the pruned cane
- 1Make the mixMix 5 kg of Ready Kav Paste in 17 litres of water. Growers usually add 1 litre of hydrogen cyanamide, their own bud-break agent, to this mix: 5 kg paste + 1 litre hydrogen cyanamide + 17 litres water.
- 2Paste the canesApply the mix on the pruned canes with a brush so that the whole cane is covered.
- 3Follow your pruning schedulePaste after pruning, as your own pruning plan and local advice suggest.

About the hydrogen cyanamide in the grape mix
Ready Kav Paste is an organic paste made by Green Care Agro. Hydrogen cyanamide is a separate product from other manufacturers, which growers choose to add for bud break; it is not part of our paste. Use it only as its own label says, with gloves, a mask and eye protection.

What is Ready Kav Paste?
A ready-to-use paste, made by Green Care Agro, that is applied on the stem or cane. On grapes it is used after pruning for even bud break and flea beetle control. On pomegranate and other fruit crops it protects the stem from insects.
How much do I mix for grapes?
5 kg of paste in 17 litres of water. Growers commonly add 1 litre of hydrogen cyanamide to that mix. Apply it on the pruned canes with a brush.
How much do I mix for pomegranate?
10 kg of paste in 17 litres of water, applied by hand on the stem.
Do I have to add hydrogen cyanamide?
Ready Kav Paste itself does not contain it. Many grape growers add it to the mix for bud break and use it as its own label directs. Ask us if you are unsure about your plot.
Which pack sizes are available?

How do I know I have the original paste?
Look for the Green Care Agro logo on the pack and ask the dealer for a GST bill.
